If you like to drive your classic or antique a lot this award was designed for you.

Butler Old Stone House Region 2012/2012 Holiday Dinner

The Butler Old Stone House Region’s annual Christmas Holiday Dinner was held on January 26th, 2013.

As part of the dinner event two of the Butler Old Stone House Region’s charter members (Al Jaycox and Merle Cleeton) attended the dinner with each give a nice talk about how the club got started and the history of the club.

Butler Old Stone House Region Outing To The AACA Museum and Library

In the middle of December, 2012 several of the Butler Old Stone House Region members made a holiday trip to visit the AACA Museum and Library. In addition to seeing the AACA Museum decorated for the Christmas season the members also took some Butler Old Stone House Region related items which were donated to the AACA Library.

The 1909 Huselton Gets Attention To The Brakes, Fan, and Headlights

1909 Huselton: Replacing the rear wheels after checking the brakes

The first club work night for 2013 was held last evening, Jan. 16th, 2013. Work again focused on repairs needing to be completed on the 1909 Huselton.

The work completed on the 1909 Huselton included:

Both rear brakes were inspected
- It was found that one of the lever pins for the driver side rear brake shoes had fallen out. The pin was replaced and the brakes restored to normal operation
One of the club members finished the machine work required to create a new eccentric attachment point for the engine fan
- New bearings were installed in the engine fan and the fan was then re-installed using the new fan support shaft
Work was started on restoring the headlights to operating condition
- The headlights were removed so that access to the gas supply connections could be corrected

When viewing the BOSH website on a mobile device a streamlined version of the site will be delivered, allowing for faster loading times and larger viewing fonts on your mobile device.

There will be a Butler Old Stone House Region Board Meeting on Monday January 21st at 7:00 PM.

New Water Pump Connection For 1915 Standard Eight Fabricated

Another part to the refurbishment of the 1915 Standard’s cooling system was completed.

A new method of connecting the passenger side cooling tube from the head to the water pump was needed.

Santa Makes A Visit To The Club Work Night

Another club work night was held on Dec. 19th, 2012 to continue the maintenance work on the 1909 Huselton.

But the evening had an added surprise with member Ed Ritchey playing the role of Santa and donating a new set of tools to the club garage.

1909 Huselton Fan Cleaned and Ready To Be Installed

Some of the post club work night maintenance for the 1909 Huselton. While the fan assembly shaft is being repaired it was a good time to give the cast aluminum fan a good cleaning. The fan is clean and ready to be installed.
